Project Consultancy

Fast growth businesses often need to make multiple specialist hires in a short time frame. We provide hands-on support with organisational design, execution of hiring plans and internal systems / process management. We can also assist with share options / equity schemes, employment contracts and other legal-type services, giving you the competitive edge of speed when it comes to getting that perfect individual over the line. We will design a solution that is bespoke to your needs, and execute this on-site or remotely depending on your preference. Some recent projects:

Project #1

Technology team in London & Lisbon – venture capital-backed company

We worked on-site with this venture capital-backed company for 4 months, both in London and Lisbon. Placements included full stack developers, data engineers, head of data, technical product leaders and mobile developers. The project required extensive market mapping and benchmarking, sourcing tech talent from overseas and engaging our strategic talent partners within a fixed budget.

Project #2

EU growth team – private equity-backed company

We were asked to work with this private equity-backed company to expand their EU growth team. We worked on site with the client for 3 months, helping them flex their organisational design and execute on a demanding hiring plan. Placements were made across Europe in digital marketing, CRM, strategy and growth.

Project #3

Complete outsourcing – publicly listed company

We worked on site with this global publicly listed company for 12 months, helping them to increase their permanent workforce by 20%, save $1m in costs, reduce average time to hire to <8 weeks and increase ‘quality of hire’ to >95%. In addition to sourcing talent for multiple teams, the project required internal systems design and deployment, management of a preferred supplier list and standardisation of feedback collection and reporting.

Project #4

Investment professionals for a venture capital fund

This VC fund asked us to help with their search for a partner, a principal and several summer associates. An important part of the project was tracking the source, time and geography of applications, as well as the correlation of those data points to articles that the client was publishing and events they were involved with. We used proprietary technology and processes, and the client was provided with a shortlist and data analysis report for each role.

In-house legal & compliance team – direct lending fund

This direct lending fund asked us to help expand their in-house legal and compliance team. Placements included lawyers of varying levels of seniority, from paralegal through to 10+ years post-qualification experience. The project involved detailed market mapping as to the magic circle, silver circle and US law firms.

International Expansion

We love working on international assignments and specialise in moving talent across borders. Our clients have engaged us to establish entirely new teams and offices in the US, Europe and a number of other international locations.
